Two former administrators and a Focal Point of CERAV/Africa elevated to the rank of Knight of the Order of Merit for Arts, Letters and Communication

The Burkinabè State expressed its recognition to 27 women and men working in the field of culture in Burkina Faso, for their priesthood for the cultural development of the country, this Friday, May 3, 2024 in Bobo-Dioulasso, on the occasion of a solemn ceremony. Among them are two former administrators and a focal point of CERAV/Africa. They are Madame Fatima AIT MHAND, Administrator, representing the Kingdom of Morocco, Florent Galaty, Administrator representing the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire and Abdoulaye Koundoul, Focal Point representing the Republic of Senegal. They were all elevated to the rank of Knight of the Order of Merit of Arts, Letters and Communication, for their commitment and dedication in the operationalization of CERAV/Africa. Absent at the ceremony for scheduling reasons, it was Mr. Idrissa ZOROM, Technical Advisor to the Minister of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism who received the distinction from Mr. Florent GALATY. That of Mr. Abdoulaye KOUNDOUL was received by Mr. Herman POUYA, the General Delegate of CERAV/Africa.
Mrs. Fatima AIT MHAND, present at the ceremony, received her honorary distinction from the hands of the Minister of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism.
The General Delegation, the Board of Directors and the Scientific and Cultural Council of CERAV/Africa extend their warm congratulations to these recipients for their constant and continuous contribution alongside CERAV/Africa in its mission of promoting and protecting the diversity of cultural expressions.
