CERAV/Africa engages in strategic discussions with its technical and financial partners

The Regional Center for the Performing Arts in Africa (CERAV/Africa) organized a roundtable meeting with its technical and financial partners on Monday, February 24, 2025, at the festival headquarters in Ouagadougou. This activity, held on the sidelines of the 29th edition of FESPACO, was chaired by the Minister of Communication, Culture, Arts, and Tourism, and sponsored by His Excellency the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Burkina Faso. The event's main objective was to generate interest and support among technical and financial partners for CERAV/Africa's programs by identifying opportunities for collaboration and partnerships. It also served to strengthen the Center's visibility and expand its network of partnerships, while gathering recommendations for better regional positioning.

Participants included experts and partners attending FESPACO, representatives of public institutions, community and civil society organizations, and members of the diplomatic corps.
The discussions were rich and constructive, resulting in concrete suggestions to strengthen CERAV/Africa's impact on the continent. The Minister praised the partners' commitment and encouraged increased collaboration to promote the performing arts in Africa. For his part, His Excellency the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco invited technical and financial partners to actively support CERAV/Africa's initiatives.
This roundtable marks an important milestone in the development of CERAV/Africa, consolidating its role as a key player in promoting arts and culture on the continent.
