May 21 of each year marks the commemoration of the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, since the adoption of the Universal Declaration on Cultural Diversity on November 2, 2001 in Paris by UNESCO.
This day is a boon for all cultural actors and partners to deepen our reflections on the values ​​of cultural diversity, something that will improve our "living together".
It aims to celebrate not only the richness of the cultures of the world, but also the essential role of intercultural dialogue for peace and sustainable development.

CERAV/Africa is holding this Friday, September 9, 2022 semi-face-to-face from the FESPACO meeting room, the 2022 session of its Scientific and Cultural Council (SCS). Chaired by the Chairman of the Board, Mr. Prosper KOMPAORE, this session should allow participants to take stock of the proposals and recommendations resulting from the 2021 session, to review the elements of the program to come but also to formulate recommendations for the achievement of its objectives.

Le mercredi 10 août 2022, une soixantaine de membres des clubs UNESCO du Burkina Faso ont visité le Centre régional pour les Arts vivants en Afrique (CERAV/Afrique). Ces jeunes conduits par Monsieur Augutin BOUDA, Président de la Fédération burkinabè des associations, centres et clubs UNESCO (FBACU) sont des participants au Camp d'échanges, de reboisement et d'actions communautaires organisé par ladite Fédération à Bama du 03 au 10 août 2022.

As part of the preparation of the regional workshop on the management of cultural infrastructures in Africa, the General Delegate of CERAV/Africa was received in audience on Tuesday, April 03, 2022 by Mrs. Valérie Kaboré, Minister of Communication, Culture , Arts and Tourism. As part of their educational outing, students in License 3 of Modern Letters from Joseph Ki-Zerbo University, led by their supervisor, Dr. Souleymane GANOU visited CERAV/Africa this Thursday, April 07, 2022. The objective of this visit is to discover the Center and understand its missions. They were received for this purpose by the CERAV/Africa team headed by the General Delegate, Mr. Michel SABA, who kindly explained to them the merits of the Center, its missions, the activities in progress and the prospects.

CERAV / Africa received this Tuesday morning in its premises, the slam artist Delfy from the group ART'TITUDE. Winner of a trophy in the official selection of the Slam category on the occasion of the 12th edition of the Abidjan Performing Arts Market (MASA), Fidèle DABIRE, his real name at the Civil Registry, came to present his trophy at CERAV/Africa.

The Managing Director of CERAV/Africa congratulated him and encouraged him to continue in this momentum which does honor to the artists of Burkina Faso.
